Abraham Lincoln and Antonin Scalia are stuck in Stranded Ferris Wheel Ride and forced to have a deep conversation.

1. "Well, Mr. Justice, seems we're experiencing a rather *strict construction* of 'vertical movement' at the moment," Lincoln drawled, adjusting his stovepipe hat.

2. "Precisely, Mr. President, a manifest textual failure of the conveyance, compounded, I suspect, by an utter lack of original public meaning regarding its operational parameters," Scalia retorted, arms crossed.

3. "I reckon a government's duty, even with a stalled Ferris wheel, is to strive for a more perfect union, gettin' us all safely back on solid ground." Lincoln sighed, gazing at the distant cityscape.

4. "Nonsense, sir! The government's duty is to apply the law as written, not to invent a new interpretation simply because we find ourselves inconvenienced by its mechanical shortcomings!" Scalia boomed, his voice echoing slightly in the enclosed space.

5. "But surely, Justice, a little 'living Constitution' is needed here, else we starve waiting for the original designer's blueprint to magically appear," Lincoln chuckled softly.

6. "Sentimentality, Mr. President, pure sentimentality! It is the path to judicial tyranny and the erosion of the very principles this nation was founded upon!" Scalia scoffed.

7. "Perhaps, but sometimes, a little bending is needed to prevent breakin', wouldn't you agree? Especially when folks are gettin' anxious." Lincoln stroked his beard thoughtfully.

8. "Precedent dictates that established contract law governs this situation; we purchased a ride, and the operators are obligated to fulfill their end of the bargain, no extra-constitutional intervention required!" Scalia declared.

9. "I always found that the greatest remedy for anxiety is to try to understand the other feller's point of view. Maybe the operators are just as stuck as we are, Justice." Lincoln mused.

10. "Hmph. I remain unconvinced, Mr. President. But I will concede, this vantage point does offer a rather unobstructed view of the jurisprudential morass below," Scalia admitted grudgingly, peering down at the city.
