Tim Cook sighed, ever the pragmatist, "Bernie, with all due respect, Apple prioritizes worker safety and fair wages, within the constraints of a global economy."

"Constraints? Tim, these 'constraints' are designed to concentrate wealth at the very top, like you and me right now," Bernie countered, gesturing around the pod.

"I believe technology can be a force for good, Bernie, democratizing information and connecting people," Tim calmly stated, his hands clasped neatly.

"Democratizing? While your shareholders reap record profits from planned obsolescence and data harvesting?" Bernie scoffed.

"We strive to balance innovation with ethical considerations, addressing concerns about privacy and sustainability," Tim explained, his tone measured.

"Balance? It's a rigged scale! The system needs fundamental change, not just incremental improvements," Bernie insisted, his fist clenching.

"Perhaps, but progress requires collaboration and finding common ground, even in this… unfortunate circumstance," Tim offered, his gaze steady.

"Common ground? You're building walls around your ecosystem while people are struggling to afford basic necessities," Bernie retorted, his voice laced with frustration.

"Well, Bernie, perhaps this experience will give us both a fresh perspective on the interconnectedness of humanity, even at the bottom of the ocean," Tim concluded, a hint of weariness in his voice.
