"This plastic dashboard is probably older than my career," Rihanna sighed, picking at a loose edge.

"And it’ll probably outlive us all at this rate, polluting some alien landfill," Greta retorted, her gaze fixed on the swirling nebula outside.

Rihanna chuckled, "Girl, you always bringin' it back to the real, even in space. But seriously, what you think they breathe here?"

"The same indifference we're facing back home, perhaps, just in a different atmospheric composition," Greta answered grimly.

"Nah, gotta have faith," Rihanna countered, "Something beautiful gotta be breathin' somewhere, waiting to be discovered."

"Hope is a luxury we can't afford, only action," Greta stated, her voice unwavering.

Rihanna arched an eyebrow, "Honey, hope *is* the action. It's the fire that makes people move their asses."

"But what if that fire burns everything else down in its pursuit?" Greta questioned, her voice softening.

"Then we rebuild, stronger, fiercer," Rihanna declared, meeting Greta's gaze, "Diamonds are made under pressure, remember?"

"Perhaps," Greta conceded, "But I'd prefer we didn't have to be crushed in the first place."
